Invite Others to a Project

If you are a project owner or administrator, you may invite others to a project. Start by clicking "User Permissions" in the left navigation bar.

In the invitation window, you may add exisiting users in two ways: 1) enter names separated by semicolons, then click the "Check Names" icon or 2) click the address book icon and search for people (tips for searching below).

People can be invited to the "Project Administrator" group, where they will have full control over the project, the "Project Contributor" group, where they will have read, write, and modify access, or the "Project Visitor" group, where they will have view-only access.

If a person you are looking for cannot be found, you can invite them as a "New External User". See this page for details. Click the "Invite" button when done.

Search tips: When searching for Exponent staff, search by first and last name, or just first name, and then browse through the results. Double-click the names of those you want to invite. When searching for non-Exponent people, search by email address, and if you only know the person's email domain name (e.g. microsoft.com) prefix the domain name with the "%" character, like so: %microsoft.com.
